    I support the Declaration's call to protect what makes mathematics trustworthy: the reliability of proof, fair attribution, and open peer review. AI can be a genuine aid to discovery, but only if its use is disclosed, its results are checked by humans who take responsibility for them, and prior work is properly cited. I welcome in particular the emphasis on keeping evaluation and publication within the scholarly community rather than commercial interests.

    Proper use of AI to deliver value that benefits out societies include understanding pros and cons and establish insights into current state of capabilities of AI its limitations. We need to work for transparency, trustworthy and secure use of AI and AI-enabled technologies. Also, we need to take into account human values to ensure that AI is not abused in ways that at large is not beneficial to our societies and values. The future of AI belongs to all of us.

    Mathematics is part of culture and it is a human creation and activity. Perhaps AI might be useful as a tool, but if the tool is powerful it has to be handled with great care. This means public control, clear rules, transparency and consideration of benefits versus damage to environment, education, public discourse, economic welfare, cultural production and activities, including mathematics itself.

    I fully support this declaration. As an AI-augmented learner, I have seen how AI can transform the methodology of learning mathematics and serve as a catalyst for conceptual understanding. Nevertheless, it must be used critically: proof, verification, attribution, and responsibility must remain with human judgment.

    I completely agree with the statement and I think it's a good initiatitive. Out of curiosity I used AI a few times within the domain of recreational maths/problem solving. Results were often false, proofs were often fakesolves and entering a problem a few times at different times, the answers were completely different (which may be good), but sometimes the answers contradicted eachother (which is bad).

    As a graduate student, I, as well as many of my peers, face the challenge of adapting to the changes AI has brought to both research and teaching. This declaration, while reaffirming the fundamental values that we hold dear as mathematicians driven by intellectual curiosity, has provided valuable insights and recommendations on the proper use of AI technology not only in mathematics but across academia. Exercising ethical transparency in our work is a must: ensuring integrity, authenticity, and honesty over the findings we discover. Presentation of (new) tools get used and abused all the time, hoping the latter never gets in our way in presenting our final publication/proof.
