    Universities surely contain, as faculty and students, many beacons of the best future for humanity, but academia is not immune from misaligned incentives (tenured faculty who teach poor asynchronous online classes are an example). Don't nerf the proof tools so that only university faculty can access them. Public, no qualifier such as "University", is what I am signing for.

It is our responsibility to ensure that mathematics will continue to thrive, with AI helping accelerate mathematical research and help us do deeper mathematics. We need to make sure, however, that the future of mathematics is not dependent on the good will of a couple of commercial entities.

    The contributions of AI to mathematics have been excessively exaggerated and sensationalized in Chinese social media, to the point of causing occupational anxiety. This trend must be curbed.
